Retaining Inspirational Students in Technology and Engineering (RISE)

With the generosity of corporate sponsors, the Retaining Inspirational Students in Technology and Engineering (RISE) Scholarship program was established in 2004. The scholarship was created as a means to recruit and retain both minorities and nontraditional engineering students. RISE scholars are students who display persistence within their engineering program, leadership and service. These students give back to our office by serving as mentors and/or tutors to other Georgia Tech students and prospective students.

Each RISE scholar is supported by corporate and foundation gifts. The RISE application is available here: http://forms.ceed.gatech.edu/applications.
