Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP)
The goal of the LSAMP program at Georgia Tech is two-fold: to focus on the retention of under-represented minority students through completion of the baccalaureate degree and to expose this group of students to research careers in STEM.
National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME)
The Georgia Institute of Technology partners with NACME to provide scholarship support to undergraduate African American, American Indian, and Hispanic/Latino students enrolled in STEM majors. NACME scholars are selected by the financial aid office in conjunction with the CEED director.
Peer 2 Peer Mentoring Program (P2P)
P2P is a retention program that is open to all students, but is focused on students who are traditionally underrepresented in STEM fields, including African-Americans, Hispanic/Latinos, and Native Americans/Pacific Islanders.
Retaining Inspirational Students in Engineering (RISE)
The RISE Scholarship program was established as a means to recruit and retain both minorities and nontraditional engineering students.
Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE)
SURE is a 10-week summer undergraduate research program that allows students to conduct research on the GA Tech campus with the goal of attracting qualified, under-represented minority students into graduate school in STEM fields.
COE Champions K-12 Outreach Program
CoE Champions are an elite group of students from all backgrounds, cultures, and engineering majors, who are passionate about giving back and being ambassadors on behalf of the Georgia Tech College of Engineering.
